RSAA Publishes College LoL Conference Partnership Policy
The RSAA has signed a three-year agreement to retain Battlefy as the official tournament platform and operations partner of the College League of Legends Season, extending our partnership through 2024.
As we mentioned in our Summer Preview, our previous three-year College Season operations agreement with Battlefy expired last season. We went through an RFP process to ensure we are giving our players the best experience possible. In the end, Battlefy stood out for their ability to serve our players over the past four years. We are pleased to announce that we have once again signed Battlefy to a three-year agreement to be the official tournament platform and operations partner of the College League of Legends Season in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
“Battlefy has been instrumental in the growth and success of the College Season over the past four years,” said J.T. Vandenbree, Operations and Championships lead at the RSAA. “Their excellent platform, developers, and administrators have given the College Season an unparalleled level of long-term stability and professionalism.”
“We have the utmost respect for J.T., and the RSAA team,” said Josh Compagna, Director of Publisher Relationships at Battlefy. “Their passion for College esports, and their understanding of what is best for their community is legendary. We couldn’t be more excited to continue serving collegiate players, providing the opportunity to compete, make friends and have fun!”
