2021 College Championship Dates Announced
The RSAA announces online-only Championship finals to be held on May 30.
With a month to go until the start of the 2021 College LoL Season, we are ready to announce the dates for the College Championship.
- Round of 32: May 1 – 2
- Round of 16: May 8 – 9
- Quarterfinals: May 27 – 28
- Semifinals: May 29
- Finals: May 30
Online-Only Top 8
While it’s been our hope that we could still host a live College Championship event in 2021, our first priority is giving schools and students the ability to plan for the upcoming season. As such, we are announcing that the 2021 North American College Championship will be held entirely online, with no live event in Los Angeles for the top 8 as in previous years.
Bringing the Championship online will allow us to lock in the schedule now, and avoid a situation where students and faculty may be unable to safely travel to a live event. We are still fully committed to a live broadcast, and ensuring that the College Championship is a special experience for players, schools, and fans.

The 2021 College LoL Season kicks off on January 18th, 2021. Keep an eye on the Season homepage for the final announcement of participating schools and weekly match schedule in early January.
