Registration for the 2023 College Season Opens Today!

The journey to the 2023 College Championship starts now. Registration is open, and the best college LoL players in NA are assembling their teams. Team captains and varsity program leads can start registering their teams to see if their squad has what it takes to dethrone the defending champion University of Saint Thomas Esports and lift the College Championship Trophy.

Rules & Eligibility

We’ve already talked about the format and biggest changes in the 2023 Season Hub, and now we’re ready to share the full rules. Click on the red links below to view the respective documents.

Code of Conduct: Like previous seasons, all players and official staff members will be prompted to read and accept the RSAA Code of Conduct to participate as part of the registration process.

Season Rules: For full information on season rules that apply to all participants, regardless of what conference they compete in, start here.

Regional Conference Format: Each conference will have their own format document, which covers their regular season and playoffs format, structure, and schedule. Partner Conference formats will be published before the season starts in January.

Teemo Cup Format: Any team that doesn’t make their respective conference playoffs can enter the optional Teemo Cup tournament to compete for RP prizes.

How to Register

Are you a team captain or varsity program lead? Head over to the College Season homepage on Battlefy to start the team registration process. Be sure to read and understand the eligibility section of the official rules before you sign up to avoid any mistakes!

Are you a player, but not a captain or manager? Wait for your manager to send you the unique link to join your team, and register directly for your team.

Participating in a Partner Conference? You register the same way as everyone else! You will be placed in the correct conference after registration ends.

Registration is open from now until November 30th at 11:59pm PT.

More season info is on the way!  Here’s a quick reference of what else will be coming to you in the near future.

Partner Conference Announcement: We’ll be confirming the full list of participating partner conferences before the end of the year. Either way, the registration process is the same for all participating teams.

College Championship Live Event Schedule: As always, we’re working with the NA esports team to build the studio schedule for the 2023 year. We’ll share the final schedule once it’s all sorted out.

College Championship Selection Committee: Like last year, we will be assembling a panel of experts from the LCS and College LoL ecosystem to select the last four teams that advance to the College Championship, as well as have the authority to manually adjust seeding groups to better match the skill levels of teams across conferences. Selection committee applications will open early March.
